Privacy policy

This policy explains what happens to your data on dalie.ai and on the Dalie early-access list: what we store, why, who else handles it and how to delete it.

Who the controller is

The controller of your data is Dalie. For anything about your personal data, write to kontakt@dalie.ai.

What we collect

When you join the early-access list, we store in our database:

  • your email address,
  • your company website, and the company domain we derive from it and from your email address,
  • your name, if you give it,
  • the plan you picked, if you came from the pricing section,
  • the language of the page you signed up on,
  • your referral code and who invited you, if you came through someone's link,
  • the version of the consent text you saw and when you gave consent,
  • when you signed up, when you confirmed your email address and when we last emailed you,
  • when you moved to the front of the queue and when we gave you access, if that happens,
  • secure hashes of the links we send you by email. We don't store the links themselves.

We don't store your IP address in our database. Cloudflare, which runs the site, processes it to deliver the pages, to check with Turnstile that a person and not a bot sends the form, and to limit signups from one address to five a minute.

If you share your referral link, the person who opens it sees in the form who invited them: your name or, if you didn't give one, a shortened email address (the first letter and the domain, for example j***@company.com).

Why we collect it

  • to run the early-access list and the queue, where referrals move you up,
  • to count the free months you earn for invited companies that start a paid plan,
  • to send you an email with a link to confirm your address, and an email saying you're on the list, with your place in the queue and your referral link,
  • to contact you about access to Dalie.

We compare your company domain with the domains of the people you invite, so referrals only count between different companies. We don't send a newsletter and we don't share your data with anyone for marketing.

Legal basis

We process your data based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you give by sending the form. Signup uses double opt-in: until you click the link in the confirmation email, you're not in the queue. Giving us your data is voluntary, but without an email address and a company website we can't add you to the list.

You can withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing it doesn't affect the lawfulness of processing before you withdrew it.

Who processes data for us

  • Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site and the form, runs the Turnstile check, limits request rates and sends our emails.
  • PlanetScale, Inc. runs our database, on AWS servers in the eu-central-1 region in Frankfurt.

Both companies are based in the US. Cloudflare may process data outside the European Economic Area. When it does, the transfer relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or on certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

Until you delete your data, withdraw consent or we close the early-access list. Then we delete your record. Database backups may hold deleted data for a short time until they're overwritten.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access your data and get a copy of it,
  • have it corrected,
  • have it erased,
  • restrict processing,
  • data portability,
  • object to processing,
  • withdraw consent at any time,
  • lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, uodo.gov.pl), or with the authority in your own EU country.

To use any of these rights, write to kontakt@dalie.ai from the address you signed up with.

How to delete your data

Every email from us has a link to delete your data. It opens Your data, where one button removes your record from the list. You can also write to kontakt@dalie.ai and we'll delete it for you.

Deletion is final. People you invited stay on the list, but they're no longer linked to you.

Cookies

The site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. Turnstile, Cloudflare's bot check on the form, may set a cookie it needs for that check. It isn't used for tracking or advertising, so we don't ask for consent to it.

When you open a Polish or English page from another Dalie page, we remember that language in a cookie called dalie_lang for a year, so the home page opens in it on your next visit. It holds nothing but the language.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we change the date at the top of the page.
